KS2 SATs Booster Groups
Coming soon: small group online sessions to build confidence and boost progress.
In the lead-up to the KS2 SATs, Shakespeare Tuition will be offering small group online booster sessions designed to support children with the most challenging parts of the Year 6 curriculum.
KS2 SATs booster groups will be limited to a maximum of six
English Booster Groups
One-hour weekly sessions focusing on a combination of key areas:
- SPaG (Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar): covering terminology, grammar rules, and punctuation commonly tested in SATs
- Reading Comprehension: using SATs-style texts to develop vocabulary, retrieval, inference, and analysis skills
- Writing Support: improving sentence structure, grammar accuracy, and writing for different purposes and audiences.
Maths Booster Groups
Each one-hour session will focus on different key areas, including:
- Fluency in the Four Operations: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Reasoning and Problem Solving: practice with multi-step and worded problems, reflecting the SATs format
- Focus Topics: such as fractions, percentages, area and perimeter, and other commonly tested concepts.
What to Expect
- Small group sessions (no more than six students per group)
- Live, interactive teaching from an experienced tutor
- Weekly focus to target key areas of difficulty
- Ideal for building confidence, understanding, and exam technique.
